Accessibility

Our target

We build and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. That is a floor rather than an ambition, and it is also a commercial requirement — government, education, and healthcare buyers ask about it, and they are right to.

What we have built in

These are the specific things we have done, rather than a general statement of commitment.

• =A skip link as the first focusable element on every page
• =Keyboard operation throughout — navigation, drawer, accordions, forms, and the map placeholder
• =Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, never removed
• =Form labels that are always visible, never replaced by placeholder text
• =Errors announced to assistive technology and tied to their field, never signalled by colour alone
• =Text contrast measured against every background it appears on, with failing combinations excluded from use
• =Semantic headings in order, landmark regions, and tables with proper headers rather than layout tables
• =All FAQ answer text present in the page at load, not hidden behind script
• =Motion limited to short fades, and disabled entirely under a reduced-motion preference
• =Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels, and no horizontal scrolling at 320 pixels wide or at 200 per cent zoom

Known limitations

Being specific here is more useful than claiming perfection.

• =The interactive map on the Contact page is a third-party embed whose accessibility we do not control. It is not loaded unless you ask for it, and the full address and directions link are available as text without it.
• =Where documents are supplied to clients as attachments, those are produced outside this site and may not meet the same standard. Ask us and we will provide the content in an accessible format.

Testing

We test with keyboard-only navigation, with screen reader software, at 200 per cent zoom, and with automated auditing tools, on both desktop and mobile. Automated tools catch a minority of real problems, so manual keyboard and screen reader passes are the ones we rely on.

Alternatives

Everything this website does can be done by phone. If any part of this site is a barrier, call 855-835-0835 and a person will take your details, book a walkthrough, and send you the written scope in whatever format works for you. That is not a fallback we are reluctant about — it is how a good proportion of our clients prefer to work anyway.
